Cedar Bayou

Water; salt to brackish to fresh, very smooth.

Location; South side of Baytown off Old SH146, http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=29.721899,-94.94359&spn=0.042785,0.059395&z=14

Boat Ramp; Roseland Park (free), good ramp, lots of parking, good docks.

Food; none

On the water fuel; none

Comments; Good place for wake boarding and tubing. You can ride north up the bayou till it gets to narrow or south down to the Ship Channel or Galveston Bay. Going south stay in main channel, open areas are very shallow. Avoid going into Ship Channel or Bay to much old oil well junk and Ike debris.
